I actually purchased this same item on a woot off 4 weeks ago. It still has not shipped and I have received no notice from woot on why it may be delayed. Proceed with caution.
If you haven’t please email firstname.lastname@example.org; CS can look into things for you.
yeah, right! Woot gets pretty crappy lately – I placed an order, they cancelled it (no notice, I looked it up in my account) and told me it’s because of the browser I used? Mind me, the order was placed ok as status was “waiting for confirmation” for 2 days already, but that’s about as much as CS knows… sent 3 different emails, same answer every time. Oh, and I’m a woot customer for almost 2 years, so no newbie.
that being said, for such a low priced item I would not bother going through woot. it’s not the highest grade SD card you can get, you save very little but have to put up with the lately_less_than_stellar services of woot
Pretty crappie pricing when new, quality 64Gb micro SD cards are $23.99 everyday with free shipping.
I’d give you all about 2 hours before Amazon raises the price because everyone goes there. BTW Samsung’s 64Gb was only $22 this week. I paid $31 shipped each for 4 a month ago and was bummed out as they are on sale all the time too.
Just bought a Samsung 32GB micro SD from the mothership yesterday for $12, $3 cheaper than Woot (no shipping fees). Samsung ratings are much better than this brand.
Research SD cards especially if you plan to use them in a smartphone. It’s common for no-name micro SD cards to die.
Same if you want to use them in a camera. Not worth it to save a few bucks (?) if it means you lose pictures, assuming your camera doesn’t have 2 cards.
No deal here, nothing to see. Move along.
Yep; party is over, they went up before noon, but CX3 says Dec 02, 2014 05:17 PM
Ordered the 64Gb card for my niece, she tried to use it in her tablet. It died after 2 days. She then sent it back to me for testing and after said testing found it would only hold 16Gb before vomiting, (as in corrupting all data.) I would like to know if there is anyway I can get ether a new card, (that actually works,) or a refund?
It’s past our 21-day return period but it has a LIFETIME warranty from Centon.
Here’s their Customer Care page.
