Centon SATA III SSD - 1TB

Centon SATA III SSD - 1TB

It seems to have gotten bad reviews over the years. How trusted can I feel that this product will be reliable and work?

The 1TB model seems to have better reviews. https://www.amazon.com/Centon-Essential-Solid-State-Drive/dp/B084RCMLXL/

But I have no experience with this brand, so who knows.

Remember that Woot is selling the crap that isn’t selling on Amazon. I wouldn’t have faith in it.

It’s also only $3 more on Amazon for one you can return, should you find it a problem. Also there is Prime delivery in two days…not two weeks.

These aren’t. These are crap we’re selling from our vendors.

And you can return things with us too. Here’s our return policy:

They made a bad name for themselves with their self-destructing USB thumb drives. That’s a bit different type of solid state memory, but I don’t trust them after paying a fair amount at the time for one of their thumb drives then it dies a few months later, all data on it lost.

DO NOT BUY!!! HOT, HOT GARBAGE!!! I made the mistake of not conducting research on this SSD. I bought one a few months ago based on the price. The SSD failed in two weeks. DO NOT BUY!

The information isn’t even accurate. Underspecs the model number is 2TB25S3VVS1 which is the 2 TB version, yet this is a 1TB drive?

Thank you. I’m asking about the model number.

Update: Correct model # 1TB25S3VVS1
