I bought 3 of the 128GB drives last time these were on woot. Utter garbage…two died immediately upon reformatting with my Mac. Now no machine (Windows, Linux, or Mac) recognizes the USB device when it’s plugged in. I didn’t even bother with the third drive. Stay away!

I echo this comment. Purchased a 128GB and it died after maybe 2 weeks. Crapola!
Ditto here. I’ve bought two of these at different times and both failed within a month of purchase. Don’t store anything on them that you can’t afford to lose.
I bought two of the 64 last time it was on Wootof. One literally fell apart the first time I used it. The case came off in my hand, and the guts remained plugged in, exposing the electronics. The whole case is held on with just a spot of some kind of clear adhesive.
Worse, I complained to Woot immediately, expecting to get a replacement. Instead I got this response:
Thank you for taking the time to email us. We appreciate your concerns as well as your business.
“Unfortunately, I do not have any replacements to send you. We have a couple of options here (1) I can issue a partial refund in the amount of $5.00 and you keep the item, OR (2) I can issue an RMA and you can return it for a full refund.”
How can they have no replacements, yet are able to put the same item up for sale today?
I sent the same thing in reply to my inquiry, and I am waiting for an answer now.
I bought one 64 GB Centon a while back. I used it very infrequently. Like many other people have found, mine died a sudden death. Windows no longer recognizes it and it can’t be reformatted. Even if it could, I would not trust this for keeping data I cared about.
Fortunately, not long after that one died, I bought a Lexar 64 GB one from B&H Photo and a Patriot 64 GB one from Fryes.
I certainly would not recommend this brand from the reviews I have read and from my personal experience.
A good brand doesn’t cost much more than a poor brand when they are on sale somewhere, and if a poor one doesn’t perform for a long time, you’ve wasted your money by purchasing one.

Here’s the answer I just received this morning in response to my dead 128GB stick.

The good news in all of this is that they aren’t going to replace the stick and I will receive a refund. Yea!!!
Both of mine turned Read Only - could not get anything off of it. Happened after I didn’t safely eject the drive thru windows. The only drives that has ever happened with

Yep, I did the same thing. Do not buy these things they are junk. All three of the ones I bought the last time Woot had these up, have all died!!!
I agree completely, although I only bought 2 of the 64g. I was going to give them as presents, so didn’t test them, hence Woot’s 3 week return policy is void, and Centon has nothing resembling reasonable customer service. No wonder these are now on clearance.
Stay away from this POS sticks, I bought 3 X 128GB, 2 went bad after one week, they are no showing up when plugged in into my PC, I tried contacting the company, no one contacted me back, Stay away, stay away
