I wish I needed a grill. This looks great !
Perfect for some nice marinated Squarryl or Y’owl on a beer can.

I know I know it’s a cute squirrel. But I was too grossed out to post real squirrel on a grill.

What happened to the earlier posts? I thought I had previously asked a question and was looking for a reply.

Random Crap got in the way.

If this item is new, why is there only a 90 day warranty on the unit? Some retailers are asking more money for this grill but are also offering a lifetime warranty on the burners and two years on everything else.

I wish people would stop buying grills with porcelain coated wire grate crap so manufacturers would stop making them. Do yourself a favor and only buy cast iron or stainless grates so you can get a decent sear on your steak instead of chipping a tooth on a piece of porcelain stuck to your steak when it rusts off in a few years. Buy this instead:
You’re welcome.

The 90 days is woot’s warranty. Though it does raise the question, is there a manuf. warranty on this as well?

“Porcelain coated cast iron cooking grates with matte finish”

Char-Broil Specialist: Hi, I’m a Char-Broil Specialist. What questions can I answer for you today?
You: What’s the warranty?
Mike: Hi and thank you for choosing Char-Broil! I will be happy to assist you with warranty information.
Mike: One moment please, while I get that information for you.
Mike: Burners - lifetime; Firebox and Lid - 2 years; Remaining parts - 1 year

I’m in! What a deal, Lucille!

Noticed the grill you referenced DOES have the porcelain too. I am used to just regular old steel racks… I am new to the porcelain party ( just bought the grill ). Are there any other cons about this heating surface? What about care?

They all rot out too even with a good grill cover and proper cleaning and care of them. We got 8 to 10 years out of 3 different Webers, comes out to $60 a year and we use it all year round even in the snow. There is no great grill in our opinions, we’ve gone up to almost $5,000 for a huge Summit for our built in outdoor kitchen and it’s crap too. It rotting out between stacked stone in less then 5 years. Try the Fox News report on grills. We trust them more then any other network.

Just received the grill and am assembling it with some difficulty.
When trying to slide the firebox on to the cart frame, the right side j channels are in the wrong place. I hack sawed a piece out so they would lock into place and the spring loaded pin would match it’s intended hole.

I have been using Char-Broil gas grill from last 1 year. I must say that if we keep it with proper maintenance and care. It works goods. I can say that 80 days warranty doesn’t matter!. But If majority of people is saying about warranty issues than it should be extended for the ease of people and for increase the product rating.
