Gluten free?

Mostly good reviews over at Amazon and definitely a deal over their price of $150 shipped.

Sport?

Looks like calories come mainly from carbs. I see words like “chicken flavored” and “beef flavored” but no real source of quality protein.

The issue I have with these is that, yes it’s “330 Servings” but you open one of those pouches to make and that’s like 20 or so servings right there. I can’t take these camping because I can’t/won’t have use of 20+ servings of one item every bag I open. Bought one (different brand, same stuff) years ago and i’m at the point where I feel like I should use some of it so it doesn’t spoil but nothing is tasty enough that I want to eat let alone refrigerate the many extra portions each baggie to try to eat later. I guess in a real emergency situation anything goes and i’d be glad to have this but I don’t find it suitable for anything else.

Agreed. Another thing that always turns me off from these emergency food supplies is if they list oatmeal or rice as large portion of their meals (probably could add some types of pasta to this as well). Most families can vacuum package those 2 items easily and they can store for pretty close to 10 years. Why should I pay you for that, what I need is the protein and the stuff that is hard to ensure lasts for 10+ years.
