Bought this last time it was offered here. It does a decent job and produces an acceptable edge for everyday use. The only thing I don’t like is that for knives like a paring knife where the edge runs all the way to the handle, you can’t sharpen the 1/4" - 1/2" of the blade next to the handle. The handle runs into the frame of the sharpener around the wheels and you can’t sharpen that last bit of the edge.

Seconding! Bought it last sale as well (for more $$) and I love it for my 8" Victorinox. Just be sure to check the instructions, though it’s not difficult at all to use.

For my Victorinox, the handle is raised a bit at the end of the blade, so I don’t have the issue with the handle preventing the back bit of the knife from being sharpened, but I can definitely see this being an issue with other knives.

Either way, this is a great price on a great product. I don’t have any links on me at the time, but you can find a ton of great reviews on this one.

Thanks to the excellent comments above, I picked one up. I know a lot of people have issue with woot being part of Amazon, but I love the fact I get free shipping on this item because I have Amazon prime. Hopefully this works just as well on cheap knives.

This really is a great sharpener. I use it both for my high end Shun knives and for come cheapies. It puts a better edge on than what I could do with a stone, and probably %90 of what a professional sharpening would do. I bought my first one a few years ago for over twice this price so I picked up another for me and a few for gifts.
