Who needs cows when you have a milk machine?
Hmmm. Nut milk.
This machine works perfect for my family. I used it almost everyday and it’s still running well. Love the self cleaning mode, I didn’t have to do anything except enjoy the milk and throw out the recessed water
What i love is it only weights 1 pound.
Should come with a recipe book. I don’t know how to make milk out of any of those things. Says just put almonds and water in. But what about for oats, soy, coconut etc?
Wonder what the cost of machine and almonds starts saving money vs buying almont milk from the store? So its $200 machine + $12 25oz bag of raw almonds vs $3.79 per half gallon almond milk…could technically buy 56 1/2 gal cartons of almond milk before sending the price of the initial purchase. Would this save money in the long run? Would it be healthier too?
No doubt it wpuld be healthier. Most commercial plant milks have sugar and flavorings at a minimum…take a look at the ingredient panel of any commercial nut milk.
Not necessarily saying those ingredients are toxic or u healthy…just that theres a lot of stuff in that carton that wouldn’t be there if you were making it at home.
If you’re buying / drinking nut milks, here’s a very good review to consider:
The Amazon page shows that it does. On a quick google, I also found a Facebook group and numerous TikToks.
Yes or no: does it make soy milk?
You can make soy milk with it. My wife didn’t enjoy it as much as soy milk made in a pot on the stove, but putting it through a nut milk bag strainer improved the texture. It was much less work and much easier to clean up than the stove-top method. The texture for soy milk was not to my wife’s liking so we did not end up keeping it, but build quality was good and the self-cleaning feature was excellent.
Ok, is it really only 1 Tablespoon of almonds to make a 20 ounce amount of milk?
Thinking of getting this for my wife but she seemed skeptical of how little almonds were needed.
