So exactly what size is the scoop - how much does it hold? These things come in all sorts of sizes, for different purposes. There’s actually a numbering system for them, from small numbers for large scoops (e.g., a #8 scoop holds 1/2 cup) through large numbers for small scoops (e.g., a #70 scoop holds 1 tbs). I already have a few and am looking for some specific sizes. The overall length and width of the unit matter much less than the capacity of the scoop itself.

Thanks for the info, TT (I hope I’m not being presumptuous calling you “TT”). I’ve long been a fan of Chicago Metallic’s bakeware, so I’m kinda disappointed in them for not including the most important specification with this scoop. Good price here at Woot, and if I didn’t already have some large-ish scoops as this one appears to be, I’d scoop up this deal in a heartbeat (and I apologize for that crappy “joke”).
How about it’s “cookie” size?
