Hey everyone, hope you’re doing well. I was wondering if anyone knew whether these could be used to store 12" vinyl LPs standing on their edge without the lid resting on the LPs. Dimension description shows an outer height of 12.5". Does anyone know what the inner height would be with the lid on? Thanks!
Hi there! Looks like @styflan has illustrated what I was going to describe 
But the interior dimensions are just a little too short, at closer to 12 x 14 x 22” (with nubbins along the length of the top, that could be cut/ground off, but are in the way of easy usage)… If you had a strong piece of hardy board, or something else to act as a diagonal bottom layer for support, you could lay a bunch of of the records at a slant inside of a horizontal tote, I suppose.
I would not likely recommend these for the purpose of storing your vinyl collection. But they do make for decent seasonal decoration storage, or using to easily have compartmental options in the trunk of a vehicle.
