Approximately 2 feet (from amazon site)
I’ll reiterate Amazon reviews, this’ll hold a tablet, but you need to be careful adjusting the arm as you can easily break the clamp. Glad I got mine as a 2-pack as the 1st one was short lived.
2nd one has been fine for a year+, handled with care.

Warning: The clamp depth is pretty short. So it will not work on a routed edge. Otherwise, the screw down clamp is fine. but, this one design decision makes it useless on any piece of furniture with a routed edge. Like a wood side table or night stand.
