Does anyone know if there’s any reason these would not work on a cruise ship in Europe?

Cheap enough that I won’t care if my kid drops it in the lake. He is going to love it!
I bought these on the last woot-off. One came with a defective battery, and the lenses were scuffed a bit. Other than that they work well, but the slightest hill will block their transmission.
Line-of-sight radios…use at your own risk. Great in open spaces, dismal when there are trees, buildings, rolling hills, etc.

Was considering these… but sold out. Have some very similar to this that work fine.
16 mile range…IN SPACE!!!
In reality you might get a mile on a good day, but these are still nice to have.
