Most of the online listings for the 9x9 model appear to use the 5x8 photo; including Amazon.
This Ebay listing appears to have the correct photos for the 9x9 version: it is, of course, round.
We have no idea. We’ve run it multiple times. Amazon is no help.

The knit picker in me had to point out the contradiction. I guess @davejlives will let us know what shape it is if he gets it.
I received my recent Woot order for this item and I can attest that the rug is definitely 9’ in diameter (round). The online photos are incorrect. The photo from Ebay at the bottom of the linked post is the correct representation. It is delivered via Amazon freight due to its size.

That single Ebay offer was the only place I found online with the correct representation. Apparently, someone posted the incorrect one somewhere and in classic internet fashion, it was simply replicated everywhere without anyone questioning that the dimensions would dictate that it be round.
