We bought the K’nex knights set for my 8 yr. old son. They are certainly not a good as real Lego. The bricks do not “grab” like Lego or better generics like Mega Bloks. Also, the set design is poorly engineered. It is VERY fragile when built and does not hold up well to play. I had to rebuild my son’s castle with pieces that we already had so it would stay together. Just my $.02…
Rebuilding this thing every single time it’s taken out due to the brown blocks not properly jointing to the grey ones. I am considering contacting the company to see if there is a suitable replacement - if not I’ll probably buy a set of plain grey ones just to swap out the brown so the darned thing will stay together, or possibly glue it. Do not recommend.
