Burn, baby, burn!

Maybe he meant pandora.com? This is actually a pretty cool website. It apparently started with this project to catalogue and characterize all kinds of songs and music. Now they have it so that you can enter artists and songs you like and it will play a mix of those songs and ones similar. You keep telling it if you liked a song or not, and refines its recommendations. Its pretty neat, and the music streams to your computer, with nothing to download.

Quick, put the torch out.

that is a cool site… and he’s only one letter off, but on a standard QWERTY keyboard, he’s 2 keys off… but we will promote http://www.pandora.com

wow, if that’s the site he mentioned… it just gets awesomer and awesomer… mad props to our homey if that’s what he was trying to tell us…

I heard it’s just Barbara Walters starting her own version of pandora…

That is a cool website! You can create multiple stations…for different genres…or moods. I can dig it.

Glad people like it! Its very addicting. And a great way to find new music. I just don’t have lots of money to spend on it…

This is very cool. I’ve been playing with some music software that allows you to capture multiple channels of internet radio and turn them into .mp3s. I would set it to capture 15 or so channels for a 12 hour period. This generates thousands of .mp3s. It’s overwhelming to try to sort through that kind of data. This pandora site is much more surgical because it tells me what I might like based on songs I give it.

Remarkable.

Me like pandora.com too, it gets me through the mornings.

World Wind lets you zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth. Leveraging Landsat satellite imagery and Shuttle Radar Topography Mission data, World Wind lets you experience Earth terrain in visually rich 3D, just as if you were really there.

Virtually visit any place in the world. Look across the Andes, into the Grand Canyon, over the Alps, or along the African Sahara.

This is a NASA download. Awesome!

Lots of neat tools and tests for your 'puter on this page.

I especially like “Shields Up”. Tests your 'puter for leak in your firewall that can be exploited by hackers.
