This 08 Tempranillo Reserve is a new release as well as the Grenache Reserve. I wanted to show off a couple of the 06’s to display the vintage. It has really come around for us.
Our Spanish wine friends refer to the style as new school Ribera, Rioja, Toro, etc. Not from the oak standpoint. More from concentration and overall ripeness. The vineyards are located at 3000-3200 in a high desert in eastern Santa Barbara county.
I would refer to reviews by Cliff Brown, Richard Jennings and Jeb Dunnuck for the most complete picture of our wines.

And for those thinking that Summer Shipping ($7) is new, it’s not. It has been invoked since 2007 every June.
