Even if your wine is at the perfect temperature when you pour it, unless you prefer to chug it, or your room is also at the perfect wine temperature, it isn’t going to matter after a few minutes.

This would also be a good way to test the temp of your wine in the cellar. Just use an old bottle and fill with water. My cellar cooling unit uses a bottle probe, but I can’t tell how accurate it is. I monitor the air temp in the cellar, but the wine temp is more important.
But, if I poke a hole through the box to use this, won’t it leak?
I thought an electric wine was what my dad did whenever anyone got close to touching the thermostat. He’s not made of money, people!
