Crafts, talents, and what are you making right now?

Thank you! The tissue or crepe paper can be tricky with the glue and prone to tears or bleeding colors.
It’s a fun process to create things. Typically I’ll use wooden skewers, twigs, lollypop sticks or other similar things to make a branch/stem. This way they are usable in frames, vases, etc.

Well I’m not making or crafting, but I’d call it rejuvenating some old faded plastic flower pots to use in the yard. I used an $11 heat gun that I bought from woot during a wootoff last year. Just use it on the low setting & wave it back & forth over the plastic until it melts a bit. When it dries it has a new darker color to it. Lots of videos on YouTube about it. I’ve seen people do their plastic lawn chairs & children’s toys. I think it came out pretty good.

Thank you. I think so too. It was my first time trying something like that. Happy the way they look now

They do that to stadium seating after winter with those big torches attached to propane tanks.

Yeah I’ve seen that video. You just put me down the YouTube wormhole again on this topic. There’s a guy that used the heat gun on the faded bumpers on his jeep. Never thought about doing that. I had a truck that would’ve worked well for this. :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t play in this elite league of maker/DIY, but I have done studies for these folks and can say they are legit. EASY $ as well as interesting.

Elevyn was going through her drawers and found this. I don’t think I ever posted it, but if I did… just ignore me.

One year, I gave her a gift card for one of her birthday gifts. I wanted a cool unique way to present it, so I sewed up a miniature pair of blue jeans and stuck it in the “back pocket”.

The highland cow  is a gift from my boss to her pregnant :pregnant_woman: daughter. She’s having a boy though, so I made some changes. Meet Harry! :hugs:
