I have the combo-edged version. May have gotten it here at woot, don’t recall.

Great knife. Just the right size and weight. Cuts well. Absolute steal at this price.

Have this in a tanto blade, for about a year I believe from a previous W00T deal… great knife, easy open, nice balance. Only “negative” I can think of might be the end of the clip seems like it sticks out a bit too far for no reason. However- It’s my daily carry. Can’t miss at this price.

Any reason to get the combo edge?

Combo edges can “cut” through thick stuff when they’re not as sharp as they should be because of the serrations. A fine edge is better at cutting, but requires more maintenance.

Is the clip reversible? As a lefty I alwayss look forthis feature.

Ahh specs say single position clip so I guess not

Serrations on this kind of folder are there mostly for cutting rope, (which they are quite good for). It’s a personal preference thing.

Someone should mention that a serrated edge is quite adept at quickly cutting thru nylon seat belt webbing in vehicles… e.g. - that’s why “combo” and serrated blade knives are carried by police, EMT, firefighter, and rescue first responders.

That said, I bought three (3) of the plain edge version of this CRKT Ken Onion Shenanigan™ Z knife!

I like Ken Onion designed knives and CRKT has put some very good metal - AUS 8 blade steel - in this one… Woot!!!
