After researching other coffee brewing alternatives that were twice the price (or more) I bought this off Woot! a few weeks ago. It arrived in a Cuisinart refurb box but looks brand new. We’ve been using it for a few days now and it reliably brews a consistent pot of HOT coffee. It doesn’t have a bunch of fancy features or a LED screen, it just brews coffee. The carafe is very well insulated and keeps the coffee hot for hours. Would purchase again if the need arose. It uses the tent-shaped Cuisinart filters which unfortunately aren’t available at our local Target.
If you do buy it, look in the carafe for starter filters!! We missed them.
