I was thinking they would make a nice wedding gift…lots of summer weddings.

Does anyone know if any of the lids mate with either of the frying pans?

Will this help me cook better?

I just paid 120$ today for 1 pot and 1 pan… Anyone know how well these hold up or their “real” price?

*Not recommended for induction stovetops
*Hand wash recommended

I have been cooking for years at home and at work, my advice is to stay away from “nonstick” coatings. They tend to start flaking off after so much use and you will end up eating the coating if you aren’t careful. Best find yourself some nice copper bottom stainless steel pots and pans, they are worth the money and will last far longer. Cuisinart is a great brand though and the price is fair enough for the amount you are getting. If you do purchase these I recommend using wooden utensils for stirring/cooking because it will make the coating last longer and not be as abrasive. Same goes with cleaning… do not use steel wool. Hot water, Dawn, and elbow grease goes a long way.

Happy birthday Woot!

[MOD: Thanks! But it’s not until 7/12 but we’re celebrating tomorrow. Join us!]

Bought these last year on woot. Love them. They cook great and you can pretty much clean them with a paper towel. Can’t speak to how they will hold up over years of use, but I’ve easily used some of them 30 to 50 times and they still look almost new. Highly recommend.

I also have this set that I bought from woot a good while ago. I used to put them in the dishwasher until I read one time that they shouldn’t go in there and I stopped. I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and got some of their specific cleaner stuff and really did a number on each pan and they came out brand new again.

The comment about cleaning them with a paper towel is very true. They’re incredibly non-stick, cook evenly, nothing flakes off onto your food, notta.

I think I’ll get another set in case my current set craps out.

But… Nothing comes close to Cast Iron. If you want something that is perfection every time you cook, hold out for woot to feature some of “The Lodge” cast iron cookware again.

That being said, I highly recommend this set.

Actually YES,they should help u cook better !!! Most importantly,u can use about half the heat that one uses with cheap pots and pans giving u more control over your outcome !! seriously, this is a great deal and after u cook with anodized pans,u will never go back !!!

I’ve been looking for a new set of cookware. I’ve been using hand me downs and cheap ones I bought on clearance 6 years ago.

I’ve been cooking on Cuisinart cookware like this for almost 14 years and they have been GREAT! I’m thinking about replacing my old set with these. Except for the much used small pan the coating has held up great. The small pan has just started to show some ware.

I picked up a set of these from woot close to a year ago. I have never put these in the dishwasher and only use wooden spoons or plastic spatulas. Most of the set still looks like it did the day I got it. However, the two frying pans, which I probably use almost every day and far more than anything else in the set, are somehow getting numerous scratches in them. It doesn’t seem like this set has the durability to be a long term solution if you use it frequently.

That being said, using these pots and pans is simply a amazing. They are far better to cook with than any other set I have ever used. Hardly anything ever sticks to them and burns, you could almost simply run them under hot water to get them clean, and that price is pretty great for what you’re getting.

I have a set of these. After a few washes mine started to scratch and peel.

Yes, the lids for the pots will mate with the frying pans. I got this set as a Christmas present over 4 years ago and they’re still going strong. I cook about 5-6 nights a week so they’ve seen plenty of use. Keep them out of the dishwasher and they’re sure to be a great investment.

Happy Bday woot!
