They are meant to make it easier to store in drawers. They are kind of big and can be difficult to find places to put them. At least the ones we had were big.

awesome idea and as a guy i think getting them as a gift would be awesome, but id much rather see a different third tool than a brush… brush isnt the kind of thing you would fold up and bring back in your house to store. shoulda put some more ingenuity into it and paired this with folding tongs!
