I just don’t trust ceramic knives :frowning:

I’ve had a Kyocera santoku for years and have not had any issues. I’ve dropped it on the floor a few times and it’s survived without damage.

This set, though, seems to be a strange combination of knives, though. 7" is very short for a bread knife unless you only cut sub rolls. It could be used for other things like tomatoes, though.

I can’t think of a task that the chef’s knife and the santoku couldn’t do equally well. You really don’t need both unless you have two people prepping vegetables. I also can’t think of a task that this utility knife could do as well as either the chef’s knife or the santoku.

So three knives here I would use if I didn’t already have knives I like. Still, that’s under $15 a knife and you get a place to store them.
