Check out some reviews for the 5 Quart

Hello fellow wooters! I purchased the oval shaped casserole in blue the last time they were for sale. It’s been three months and many dishes later, and i have to say that this was one great purchase for the price. I have made diffrent dishes using spices and other ingredients that would have left stains on the enamel finish, but up to this point,it still looks flawless. If you are going to be one of those people that want to compare these to Le Crueset, forget it! Just buy the casserole of your choice, because with the money to will be saving you will have friends over to dinner at least four time.don’t fret! Get it already!

I, too, am happy to share that I purchased a beautiful red round Cuisinart Cast Iron Casserole during a recent Woot, and I love it!

One absolutely incredible thing it renders is the best non-kneed crusty bread ever. This recipe, below, is very detailed and super easy:

Overall, you cannot go wrong with this purchase. It is a versatile casserole, it is super well made, and these prices are the lowest you will ever find!

Woot, you’ve been busted by the apostrophe police! This cookware has been forced to leave IT’S ancestral home? Come on, guys, you know better than that…

I bought the 7-quart round way back in September 2010 (for the glorious low price of $44.99) and it is still rocking! It’s been excellent for whipping up giant batches of gumbo or chili, and it is great for bread baking as well. The enamel is still in excellent shape. Highly recommended!

HEY! You found our hidden error. Nice work!

I’ve owned the 7-qt round red dutch oven for over 10 years. The enamel is worn off and it has an ugly brown stain in it. I still use it and it’s nice but ugly as hell.

Also, I bought my cuisinart dutch oven at TJ maxx for $50

I second all of this, purchased same item, it’s fantastic.

I bought the 5.5 qt blue oval back in October and couldn’t be happier with it. When you buy enameled cast iron at this price you have to worry about chipping, cracking, and flaking but I’ve used it on a ceramic top as well as my current gas stove and oven and this thing just keeps asking for more. More food that is. It braises so well I’m tempted to get another one. I don’t need another one but I really like the way it cooks. My wife will kill me but it might be worth it.

I bought the 7 inch oval about 2 years ago from Woot for my wife.

In 2 years, I have never used it.

On a side note, my wife uses it all the time. She bakes chicken and pork loins in it, makes soups, as well as all kinds of other great meals. She loves it and wants the 7 inch round. She loves cooking in it, and it has held up great. Unlike others we do have a little browning in the tan enamel.

Unlike many of the other reviewers on here we had issues with the blue oval bought on a previous woot for my wifes christmas present.

The Ceramic chipped off after the first use exposing the iron underneath.

If you do have problems be prepared to pay return shipping and an inspection fee and all that guarentees is that cuisinart will inspect it. If you complain on their facebook you might get the inspection fee waived but you’re paying return shipping regardless and no guarentee of replacement.

Overstock is getting $23 more for the 5.5 quart size.

Did they replace it? You left that important item out.

Where are these items made?

Per the specs.

Made in: China

Mine arrived over the weekend, and I was pretty disappointed to find out that the lid had several chips in the enamel. I’m not sure what the options are at this point; it’s not like Woot offers exchanges for damaged items.

You should receive the item in new condition. Please email for assistance. Include your Woot username and order number for faster service.
