Comments on the 12 pc set from a previous offer

I just hope this is half as good as the all-clad tri-ply, If i am half wrong, then that would make it only worth cents.

Nice set.

Too bad it doesn’t have a nice rack.

Picked up what I think was a similar 14 pc set in October and have been very happy with it:

The 14 pc set is beautiful and has useful pieces.

We’re transitioning from Teflon coated and there is a learning curve. If you haven’t used steel before, you’ll want to pick up some Bar Keeper’s Friend for cleaning. There does tend to be more cleaning; and cooking requires more attention and care.

But we’re happy with our purchase and they served us well over Thanksgiving.

The description states that the aluminum is encapsulated only in the bottom of the pan, not encapsulated throughout, so no: not as good as tri-ply.

We have 2 sets, they’re great. You can’t go wrong with Cuisinart at this price. Years back a good sized Cuisinart large pot or pan cost close to $100 for each. A No brainer purchase.

That 14 piece set isn’t offered so why bother sending people there? SMH.

Wooter was letting people know what they bought before giving some tips and hints. Seems completely valid to me.

I have the 11 piece set and I love it… like others have mentioned, there’s a learning curve because you need a lot more liquid/oil in your pans to cook things like eggs (I just kept one old teflon pan for that because I’m too lazy to learn)… I recommend the 11 piece set because the steamer is great, even frozen veggies are good when steamed… I do wish I had another medium saucepan because sometimes I want to make pasta sauce and steamed veggies at the same time.

I know it is “fashionable” to have glass tops, but they are a real pain to keep clean. There is always a gap on the inset of the lip. For the money, these are fine. But be prepared to scrub the living heck out of the lips. Full metal covers are the way to go… imo.

Can anyone please tell me what the UPC code is on the 11-PC Set Box? I am missing it and need it to register my product warranty. Customer Service was completely unhelpful. Thanks!
