This cookware set is very nice but it will only look good for 15 minutes or until you leave the parking lot. Copper cookware stains quite badly but if you go to a friends house and they have pretty copper pans it means that they have Never Actually Used Them

Just like the giant gas ranges that are never actually used.
I have the aluminum-exterior Al-Clad which suffers the same fate. I made that purchase purposely so that I wouldn’t feel compelled to keep the outside looking good.
A little “BrassO” and they will look new. (I personally do not put forth the effort for my copper bottom pots but my Grandmother did and her Revere Ware always looked brand new.)
Yeah, it’s a never ending and somewhat pointless battle but maybe if you have people over for Thanksgiving or something. My Mom used to have a solid copper tea kettle and it’s not that much work to polish but there’s no real good reason to do so… The patina is almost a mark of pride for some folk
