I hate when they mislead us.
You have to freeze the mixing bowl, not the ingredients. That said, this one does work very well.
Kids enjoyed this when they were growing up when friends over, but too much work on a regular basis. They really enjoyed adding toppings.
This model is much faster but it only makes rainbow swirl.
I’ll pass. We JUST got Blue Bell back in Vegas. Only work involved with that is buying and scooping. Being lazy never tasted so good 
I ALMOST picked up a pint of that yesterday, but It likely would have melted on the way home, I was too far. Plus I remembered I have the last new flavor (the peanut butter explosiony deliciousness flavor)
