Amazon $73.15 (new) plus free shipping. Uh, Woot, I don’t think so…you’re a bit overpriced for a retread product, don’t you think?
They will probably delete your comment, they delete mine whenever I state a better price or the high price they are trying to sell theirs items for. The funny thing is Amazon owns woot now.
We don’t delete price comp comments. Sometimes if we are not able to match a lower price on a different site we discontinue the sale.
Let me ask…Are you not looking for prices that are lower on Amazon or Google before putting up your sale items ?
I can’t begin to tell you how many times I find a better price than Woot’s with just a Goggle search, that I don’t even bother to post them ! Especially a new item price vs a Refurbished price !
If this was the MSC-600 or the MSC-800 multicooker at this price I’d jump on it. I see this slow cooker on ebay NEW with warranty going for about this much (OK, $63-$65) and generally FREE shipping & NO sales TAX (saves about another $10). So If I want one I could either snipe 1 there or as said above just buy it on Amazon for $74+tax (of course Amazon has sales tax too).
Why did they not add temp. control?My slow cookers always end up boiling.
The problem with these are the ceramic pots in them. Nothing like leaching heavy metals in my food all day…Yum…NOT. Ceramic is filled with nasty stuff that penetrates food folks. Better off getting one with a stainless steel pot. Then don’t make the mistake of scrubbing the steel. That will disrupt the metal and get into food too. Ceramic is made where? That makes a difference too.
The buyer has lowered the price to $55.99!! She’s over in the corner crying tears that are turning into icicles because it’s so freaking cold here today. Could you please warm her up by buying some of these slow cookers?
Oh, and if you already purchased, we’ll be refunding the difference soonish.
@bondserv - cough B-S… /cough
@woot - can I get an action shot of the slow cooker cooking hot wings? kthnxbi!
And always make sure you wear that tinfoil hat, you know, just in case…
This is one of the few slow cookers that actually maintains different temperatures. From the users manual: high equals 212°F, low equals 200°F, simmer equals 185°F, and keep warm equals 165°F.
I’ve had this model for nine years and it works like a charm. I’ve never had overcooked food.
Amazon will show different prices to different people at different times based on everything from buyer history to stock on hand.
