I have one of these that I bought refurbished for about the same price and I LOVE it. I make lots of soups and blend them right in the pot with no splashing like my previous hand blender! also does not scratch the bottom of the pot (something I was worried about with the metal design). Enjoy!
Got one of these as a birthday present. I made some roasted red pepper soup this past weekend and I loved the ease of use. No need for a blender and took about 20 seconds. Buy it for soup, use it for smoothies and everything else.
Love it for soup! Screw the chunk, gimme smooth!
I purchased this machine several Woots ago and it has quickly become one of the best and most useful kitchen machines I ever bought. Very well built, powerful and easy to clean. Simply stated, it performs better than advertised. Buy one and don;t look back…just have fun!
I have this and love it. Makes wonderful smoothies. It also is a good small food processor.
Used this once for making home-made mayo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gz0fLT_k3_U
Not bad, but don’t use it often. I just couldn’t get the traditional blender to make mayo for me. Many eggs were lost
I use mine for everything from making hummus to making creamy soups. This one will replace a cheap plastic one I use for soapmaking.
I contributed to the cause. My mother-in-law really wanted one of these.
Use one for my protein shakes at work when i don’t have time to it, good quality product too very solid i have to say, definitely a useful little kitchen toy
Works great, I agree. I bought this new in the past 6 months from costco for 20 bucks (25 less 5 instant rebate). I guess I did not realize what a good deal it was. Not sure if refurb is worth 30…
Next up…
Recycled toothbrushes.
Repurposed condoms.
Barely eaten hamburger??
Love the positive comments about this one… have been wanting a stick blender for a long time and the community got me to bite this time. Looking forward to having some comfort food fun with this.

Put me down for the hamburger. I’m starving.
i believe the correct terminology is
Recycled Toothbrushes
OEM Condoms
Refurbished Hamburger
i bought one of these from bed bath and beyond for $50-$60. works great. but refurb cooking utensils? gross!
Bought this several years ago for ~$100. I love it - much more convenient to use than a food processer (even the mini-prep ones). Well worth the $$.

I’ve got a KitchenAid one, and I’ve made mayonnaise several times. Olive oil makes it a little bitter, so I don’t use that. Sometimes I flavor it with wasabi powder, roasted peppers, limes, or other things, just to see what works. It just takes an egg, a little mustard to help the emulsion, blend, some acid (lemon juice, vinegar, etc), and drizzle in some vegetable oil.
Actually its rating is only 3.5 stars. Some history of failure on this model. CSB-76 looks better

So you never eat at restaurants? All those utensils are used.
Feels like I’m getting trolled here
Every time I refresh it goes down a bit, then the next time it goes up and it keeps toggling back and forth
