Customer service [resolved]

Your customer service sucks. I have emailed you guys 4 times and nothing but crickets. Don’t order from woot. It’s a scam

This is a public forum, not customer service.

Hi there.

Please make sure you’re checking the email associated with your Woot account, not your Amazon account if different.

Thanks.

(Please note: I don’t work for Woot, I just volunteer to help out here on the forums.)

Hi there. It’s a very busy time with the holiday buying season and our customer service reps are feeling it. Please give them 24-48h to respond. Contacting more just jams up the system and you run the risk of all your contacts being marked as duplicates.

Check those spam/junk folders too. We end up there a lot.

I don’t work for Woot.

I emailed them on Monday… checked spam etc.
Just email me back. I dont need answers, just a response at the very least

Ive wait 96+ hours.

Got it. Unfortunately, it’s after business hours here so I don’t have anyone to escalate this to. It’ll be Monday before I would be able to. If you don’t get a response over the weekend, drop me a nice note here and I’ll ping customer service.

PS: Make sure you check in with UPS too.

Whats your phone number or email address?

I’ll email them personally so i can have a paper trail.

As long as you guys dont post actual numbers or email addresses you have plausible deniability because we the buyers won’t have a paper trail. Anyone reading this use extreme caution with woot. Its a scam. I called Amazon, no record of my purchase. And i will continue to be a real thorn until my situation is made right.

It’s best to go through the support form as this authenticates you so we know you’re you. An email doesn’t do that and for security, we need to know who we’re communicating with. Their responses will come via email so you’ll still have a paper trail.

Our CS phones are turned off at this time while our reps work on getting caught up with contacts.

Thats a really neat business savy way to deny all of us, the buyers, access to a customer service contract of any kind. I’m going to be an absolute pain until i get this resolved. You guys are way more train on how to talk around an issue than how to fix an issue

If it helps, I’ve been a customer of Woot since 2007. I haven’t had reason to write to customer service often but every time I have done so, they have rectified whatever problem there was quickly and efficiently. I’m not saying that just because I am a volunteer moderator, which I’ve only been for the last few years. I have made 803 purchases from Woot so that is saying something, I think.

My Woot stats:

Customer service is getting slammed right now so please have patience. Wires might have been crossed, etc. I’m not sure but please be assured ThunderThighs will follow up to get things resolved. She’s not customer service, though, so she will have to wait until CS is back on Monday.

I’ll give it until Monday, thats 168+ hours. Should be enough time to expect a response…

Hi there. Just want to double check that you reached out to customer service via the support form, correct? I’m popping a note to CS for Monday just in case.

Yes, i have. Please do. Ive checked spam and double checked my email. Everything should be good to go. I just need some resolution to my situation.

Hi there. Got word that CS responded to you on 12/1 at about 1:30pm CT requesting photos. Once you send photos, they can get you squared away.

When is Customer Service available? I have emailed a few times, no response. Just wondering when they are there and I will try again at that time

Are you checking the email address listed on your Woot account? If that’s different from your Amazon email address you’ll need to check there. You’ll want to check your spam and junk folders too. Response time is a little slow right now but the average is 24-48 hours.

(Please Note: I’m not employed by Woot, but I volunteer to help in the forums.)
