I’m still learning how to use the forums here and not very good at navigating my way around yet, so I apologize if I’m commenting in the wrong spot. I’m hoping someone can help me out . I placed an order for a HD 10 Plus 2021 Tablet and paid Rush delivery to get it here for my daughters birthday. It was just delivered today and I was sent the wrong model .I received the regular Fire HD 10 model instead of the Plus. IIt was fulfilled by Amazon and I’m guessing someone didn’t put close enough attention and grabbed the wrong box when filling my order. I normally wouldn’t be in such a panic or rush to get ahold of someone but it’s my daughters big birthday gift and I’m not sure what to do here. I’m also afraid they will sell out of the model I was supposed to receive. Could anyone direct me on what to do here? Any help would be so so appreciated.

I did go ahead send an email but I didn’t think to let them know that I want the correct item sent out as opposed to a refund or anything like that. I was kinda in a panic when it first arrived and saw it was the wrong item and mainly just stated in the email that my order has just been delivered and it was the wrong item/model Should I go ahead and send another email asking for them to send another one out and if possible send with faster shipping like I originally paid for with the original order so that it hopefully makes it in time for her birthday?
I’ve tried reading through some of the threads and comments and I saw where a couple people who recieved the wrong item were told they were probably better off asking for a refund so they can hurry and order the item again before it sells out. Not sure how accurate that is but wanted to ask if you had an opinion or advice on which option would be best. I honestly picked this specific tablet for the wireless charging feature and I’m honestly worried it will sell out before I hear back, so much so that I almost went and bought another one just to be sure they didn’t sell out before I hear back from customer service, but I really can’t afford to have something happen where I get stuck with both tablets and I’m out an extra $100.
I apologize for all the questions and rambling on🤦🏼♀️ I’m still fairly new to all this and just not sure what to do as I know the item ends in around 8 hours and I don’t want to miss out on getting her tablet, or the correct tablet I guess I should say…lol

Hello, so sorry to bother you again. I just received an email back from customer service and they said they looked into the warehouse and the item I ordered isn’t available. The only problem is the item they listed is not at all what I ordered. They mentioned something called Trona Squad Squid ink . I don’t even know what that is, but I ordered a refurbished Fire HD 10 plus (2021) and I’d REALLY like the item I ordered if possible…Is there possibly a number I could call to communicate with someone and have them look into the item I actually ordered and see if it’s available to ship out
Hi there. That “Trona Squad Squid Ink” is the internal name for that product. Companies come up with weird code names when products are in development.
