These are wonderful, I had a pair in high school I loved-7 years ago- I search annually for a USA carrier and come up with nil other then soccer variety.
All these complaints about no size 13… just save yourself some trouble and cut off your toes. Then you can finally have all your favorite woot shoes since they’ve barely ever had 13s.
Why are there so many wooters with abnormal feet? Every time they have shoes there seems to be tons of complaints that there’s not size 14 shoes or no extra wide shoes. Thank God I have normal feet!
Hey Woot Staff - It would be a lot easier if the first down-selection were by size instead of color! Then I wouldn’t have to click all of the colors before I realize you don’t have 13s. (Okay, I only clicked one, then came to the comments to complain). It doesn’t matter which color I like if you don’t have it in my size.
Or just 1 page with the options of all the sizes/color combinations?
You know what else is weird? Woot selling shoes but not allowing a return when they don’t fit true to size! I’ve come to know that certain manufacturers make their shoes to different specs. Example: I always buy (try on) a size larger when looking at Nike shoes. Because of the non-standard specs in the shoe industry I am very reluctant to buy shoes on line especially if the vendor will not allow returns for wrong size. I have bought shoes from Woot before but only because the manufacturer offered exchange for wrong size. Guess what? I had to exchange my Woot shoes. It worked but man what a hassle. I only saved a few bucks over going to the brick and mortar shoe store but would have saved time and aggravation. And, I would have walked out of the store with my new kicks under my feet! Moral of this rant: Unless you are familiar with the exact shoe offered on Woot, save the aggravation and suck it up for the retail price at your local shoe store. Anyway, lots of the shoes offered on Woot are available on discounted sale at your local “Shoes on a Shoestring” as end of season close-outs.
I looked at the specs, it lists sizes from 6 - 14, but they only sell 8 - 12. I thought that it was a great way to annoy people with shoe sizes of 6,7, 13, and 14. Color me annoyed.
First off, when I buy men’s shoes, I buy 8 or 8.5 US depending on the fit. If I measure my foot, it is just shy of 26.5 cm long, so a size 8.5. It would then think that this is a US sizing chart.
And I’ve seen plenty of US sizing charts in CM, mostly online.
What I would like to know, is do the shoes seem to run narrow/wide and do they hold up well?
