Perfect Reviews on the 6 gallon over at Home Depot

Seems almost all of the models are about $10 cheaper through woot than walmart.com but with shipping, it’s only $5 cheaper.

As a long time owner of a wet/dry vac with a 1 1/4" diameter hose, I recommend not purchasing one with that small a hose. You will use this on coarse material and the smaller hose is likely to plug. I have developed procedures to clear the hose, but it is a pita. Recommend nothing smaller than 2". woot! does not give the hose diameter, you’ll have to go elsewhere. Just a caution. Thanks

I tried the SL18016 and it was very weak. After using it on a bit of sawdust it lost almost all of the (small amount of) suction it had. I returned it and bought a Shop-Vac brand and have been very happy.

What are the bags for? I have two of these and only use a filter.

Thanks for pointing out our lack of info- we’ve now added hose diameters to the sales!

I’ve been in the market for a quality Wet/Dry Vac for home remodeling. Thinking about the 12 or 16 gallon. Anyone have any input? Are these a good value at this price?

Is this from the Stanley tool company (http://www.stanleytools.com), or a different Stanley? The logo looks different.

Looks like the 16 gallon has middling to poor reviews: http://www.amazon.com/Stanley-SL18008-16-Gallon-Stainless-Horsepower/dp/B006EHYEXW

It’s from that Stanley.

My S.O. bought the 16gal and it crapped out only after about 4hrs of use.
