I bought the seven quart Dutch oven a few years ago and have been very happy with it. I use it at least once a month and have seen no damage.

I have baked bread in it, but mostly I braise pork and beef. My go-to chuck roast is braised in red wine with porcini mushrooms (no rehydration necessary), thyme, and rosemary (just because I grow them). It’s very easy to throw together.

I haven’t bought one of these through Woot, but I did buy one a year ago or so. It’s great for some of the French cooking I like to do–stuff that gets cooked on top of the stove part of the time, and then in the oven for part of the time. Easy to clean, too.

I bought one but c’mon Woot, I know everyone plays fast & loose with the “List Price” but the 5.5 qt is not $180 but $100 direct from Cuisinart, with a choice of colors.

The fry pan (which is what I was looking at) is pretty much the same price on amazon after tax and shipping AND if you have prime you can get it from amazon in two days…

Also, the list price of this pan is $49 on cuisinart’s page, not $90
