Check out the product page for the 27"

Are these Samsung monitors, IPS or what?

Agood review, but

Lows

  • Stand does not adjust
  • No VESA mount
  • No DVI input

That stand will get in the way on my desk which has a VESA mount already in place. Great for a console system user I guess…

You can check the Display Type in the specs. One is TN; the other two are PLS.

Display Panel Type Differences Defined - TN vs. IPS, PLS, VA, & More at Gamers Nexus

None of these are VESA compatible.
Deal breaker for me.

Refresh rate on all three of them is 60Hz.

Doesn’t it bother anyone else when they don’t put the refresh rate in the specs?

Which is very typical of low to medium priced LCD monitors. Honestly, I’d only expect them to mention it if the refresh rate was higher…(these aren’t “gaming monitors,” not at this price)

Bought the 21.5 on a recent woot-off. Packaged well. Looked brand new, no dead pixels. Recent manufacture date. Great picture. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommended as a basic desktop monitor.

Only 1080p…
Ahhhh early 2000’s, we met again.
Woot needs to realize that they will probably sell out every time they have an actual good product up.
The 4k TV sold out yesterday. I bet if they had a good deal on a 4k monitor, it would be toast in half a day. Stop selling these 1080p garbage. 1920x1200 at the very least???

Anyone know if the stand on the 27" is detachable?

It will ship with the stand detached. Is that what you mean?

The manual for more info.

I recently bought the 21.5" monitor a few weeks back. Typing this review right now while using it. I love the monitor. It has touch controls on the rim, looks great, no dead pixels, looks just like a new monitor. My friend at work was so jealous that he has a knock off manufacturer that I’m buying him another one today. This monitor rocks for a regular everyday monitor for office use
