Any idea if they fixed the wireless headphone wifi interference? I have a pair of the X41s and there is a considerable amount of “pop”, sounds similar to your ears popping, in the head phones if I try to use my computer over wifi or my phone over wifi. Text or calling does not replicate the issue.
Anyone know what the differences between the XP510 and the PX4 are? Im using this for my PS4/PC…Cant really tell what the difference is from the sepcs/turtlebeach’s site. I bought a PX5 a while ago, but it has some crackling in the speakers sometimes, which makes it unusable for somethings
Also does anyone know if you can use these with the PS4 without the wire adapter to your controller? i have this for my PS4, but i cant adjust the chat volume which is a huge minus
Lucky for you. I could pause my Amazon Prime streaming video on my TV by turning on my Turtle Beach base station, which would completely destroy the WIFI signal in my house. I tried to use them for a while by shielding the station and then sitting in the “shadow” of the shield but it didn’t work. If you have WIFI, get a corded headset or one of the newer ones on a different frequency. Why they when’t with 2.4Ghz or whatever it is is beyond me.
I hope this isn’t a dumb question…Can I watch TV with these in order to not keep my wife up all night because I have crappy hearing and need to crank the TV? Thanks.
I have the XP 510s and I paid about $200 new for them. They are comfortable and I love having NO wires… however one thing I’ve noticed is that every now and then, the game sound cuts out. I can still hear chat just fine, but game sound is gone. Usually resolved by cycling the power.
Not sure I like the idea of refurb headsets though. May be just fine but it sounds yucky.
Saying that these work with xbox one seems very misleading. You cannot use the microphone and they plug in on the xbox console instead of the convenient controlled plug-in…
Oh man… How did I miss that. I bought the XP510’s about two hours ago (during a meeting at work) and am now realizing they aren’t compatible with Xbox One. Anyway to cancel my order or am I out of luck?
This is like buying a Sega game when you have Super Nintendo
I have the Mad Catz AX Pro (AX Pro+ is now out), which is a wired 5.1 surround sound headset. My brother-in-law said that he would like to get a gaming headset so he could play at night.
I was thinking about getting the Turtle Beach XP510s for him. But between the WiFi interference and the buggy power-saving feature I’m going to pass.
I’m thinking that the wired 5.1 surround DPX21 or AX Pro+ is what I need. Unfortunately, the DPX21 headset is not part of this sale.
