I had the “Skinit” version of this that I purchased at a local big box hardware store on clearance.

Honestly - It sounded great for the price. Set-up was easy. Range was great!

It worked for ~ 4 weeks and just-stopped-working. Brick city. Luckily I could take it back to the store.

Is there any volume control on the speaker itself or the transmitter? Thanx.

If you take a look at the Acoustic Research website you can see the manuals for these units. That being said, there is a volume adjustment on the individual speakers. The transmitter volume can be adjusted using the volume control of your device and it is recommended that you use about 75% volume unless that causes too much distortion. In general, the speaker volume control is the better choice to use to control your volume.
