Today at Woot, instead of one thing in the daily deal spot, we’re giving you ALL THE SHEETS AND MOAR SHEETS THAT ARE 100% COTTON AND SO MANY SHEETS THAT YOU COULD START YOUR OWN SHEET STORE!!!
And since it’s a special kinda sale, we thought it needed a special kinda discussion place that you can find here.
100% Cotton Sheets - 3 Styles - 4 Sizes Price: $39.99 - 89.99 Shipping Options:: $5 Standard Shipping Estimates: Ships in 1-2 business days (Friday, Nov 21 to Monday, Nov 24) + transit Condition: New
Would Woot be willing to put about three sets of these sheets in a box and sell it as a mystery box? You could charge the regular price X 3 then add 10 bucks on top of it. . . that sounds like marketing gold.
Hey Woot, just a small request. In the future when you sell sheet sets, could you please be consistent with calling them “sheet sets” in the heading for each item? From the offer page only 4 of them are called “sets” in the title but all 12 of them appear to be sets.
Sorry, just a little persnickety because I’m in the market for some new sheets, but my bed doesn’t work with fitted sheets. I thought I had finally found something I could use but that quickly turned to disappointment
Answers to questions (maybe before you even asked them).
Manufacturer: We sometimes can’t give out the manufacturer or model number. This is because our buyers work for great pricing and the vendors want to protect their pricing in the marketplace.
Percale vs Sateen: Percale is a regular weave with one yarn over and one yarn under. That’s a lot of threads in an inch. You won’t see many sheets in high thread counts for percale because they will feel like a tarp.
Sateen sheets have a soft feel, glossy appearance, and a satiny texture. This is due to the four-yarn-over, one-yarn-under weave. This 4-over-1 lets them achieve more threads per inch.

Good feedback. I’ll pass it on. Often, we just can’t fit all the words in due to a character count limit.
There are huge shipments of sheets coming out of India and China with labels that say 100% cotton but are in fact a poly cotton blend. Beware of this. Test your sheets.
Pull a few threads from the edge of the sheet. It may require taking a few stitches out…or turn a pillow case inside out and harvest threads from the end. Pull cross fibers as well. Burn those threads with a lighter or other method of fire. If the fiber retracts and melts into a little ball…guess what?..polyester content. If the fibers just turn black then it’s 100% cotton.
I have been “burned” twice with bad sheets and they are hard to return. The old saying of “if it sounds too good to be true it probably is” lives on. Good luck!!

I am with the manufacturer of the 600 Thread count deep pocket sheets and I will say that the sheets are made from 100% Pima Cotton.
The sheets have been stringently tested to ensure the highest quality.

Thank you for responding and clarifying this. I will say the close up photos look right to me.
On a side note-I’ve never had a problem with products purchased through Woot.
Question: on the 600TC sheets, specs tab, what the heck am I supposed to understand by sizing: “+4”?"
Does that mean that the sheets are an extra 4" long AND wide, just an extra 4" long, just an extra 4" wide, or is it an extra 4" in every direction? Does it mean they will hang an extra 4" on both sides of the bed (and thus be an extra 8" total wide)?
And why on earth is that listed for the pillowcase as well? Is there all sorts of extra fabric on the pillowcase as well?

Thunder: I totally understand why you cannot give out manufacturers’ names… however it makes it difficult to REORDER if you don’t know something. Could you consider giving a vendor number (i.e. Sheet 545258 or something) so if we purchase something we love, we can get it again when it’s offered.
I purchased some sheets last year from a no-name vendor. I am ASSUMING that these are the same sheets… but I will be totally bummed if they are not.
