Time to check out the product page for the camera with Wi-FI and check out this “very good” review over at cnet

The Samsung Galaxy Camera is pretty awesome. You can automatically backup images taken to your favorite cloud storage (OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc…) and access them from other mobile devices or a computer, you can download social network apps and share images with friends right away, if you sell a lot on Ebay you can download the Ebay app and list items right away, you can play games on the go, read email, etc… it’s pretty much like having a mini-Android tablet built into your camera.

As a camera, it takes great pictures and the zoom lens in unbeatable.

I used to have the camera and loved it so much that I decided to upgrade to the Galaxy Camera 2 recently. …truthfully, there’s not much of a difference though, just a small performance boost and the ability to have more apps runnings.

Oh - another cool thing; if you have a Samsung Galaxy phone, you might be able to swap batteries with the camera; so if the camera battery dies, you can just take out the battery on your phone (or the other way around). …I know the Galaxy S4 battery will work, I’m not sure what the S5 uses.

4.6 Stars on the Smart TV over at B&H Photo

The only item under $100 (ie: the $79.99 low end of the price range) is the sound bar and it’s sold out.

…next item jumps to +$100 at $179.99.

Because I hunted down the links for the galaxy camera:

A video review.

The flash pops up, not shown in the pictures, but shown here:

The WB350F (16.3 MP Digital Camera with Wi-Fi) is $129, new, with free expedited shipping from Adorama. I’d have a hard time buying a refurb from Woot over that one for the same price.

I agree. Great EDC camera, especially for the price. One of the other advantages I’ll throw in is that you can use almost any camera software from the Google Play Store. It won’t be quite as perfectly integrated – Samsung did a great job enhancing the stock Android camera app to take advantage of this camera’s features – but they work and they give you a lot of flexibility.

Also, these have really nice low-light performance; my D7100 gives me noisier shots. A couple of samples include

and

. The second shot is a porch about 200 feet from mine at full zoom. You can see that, at that zoom level at night, you’ll want more stabilization than I had (doesn’t have to be a tripod but at least some support). But like I say, these are still pretty solid shots for being handheld at extended zoom late at night. Resized and adjusted just a bit, you could get medium-sized prints.

Are the speakers for the Samsung Home Theater System wireless (bluetooth)?

Found manual. They’re wired.

I bought the surround sound system a few months ago. I really like it. I have a small-to-medium sized media room and the sound is great. The sub isn’t powered but it still puts out some good bass. I’ve used pretty much all the features it has and I have no qualms, except for one: if a disc is in the drive, it will spin up even if you are not on BD/DVD mode. The sound of the disc spinning is audible (at least for me) if nothing else is playing and the room is otherwise silent. However, any sound will typically drown it out. My concern is more with the drive wearing out. So if I’m not actively watching a movie, I just make sure to remove the disc from the player.

Sure…Bought the Samsung Galaxy Camera when Woot had it a few days ago for 199.00!!! Now it’s 179.00 DARN!!! But…I just got the camera and it’s awesome for the price!! Can’t go wrong.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it. I just ordered this for my gf. Do you mind if I ask how much you paid? I was hoping this was a good deal, just curious as to “how good” compared to what you got it for.

I ordered the Samsung UN46EH5300FXZA TV via this WOOT!.. and the order has still not shipped and the status is still “preparing for shipment”.

Naturally this is an issue since it is now 20 days since the order was placed…
I have contacted support, but nobody has been able to tell me anything so far. Doing a fedex tracking search by reference does not show anything either.

Has anybody received their TV order yet? Or is everybody’s TV order from this particular WOOT! still stuck in shipping limbo??.

Thanks
