Got a Roku3 in a previous woot. It is so much better than the old 2 series - so much faster, Netflix shifts to HD faster, I think that the video even looks better (probably just wishful thinking). Very happy with the purchase.

The Roku stick is great as a non-primary Roku that will only see minimal use. I just bought one last week for use in the bedroom. Response to the remote lags and channels take 3X as long to load as they do on the Roku 3. Other than that, it’s a dang fine streaming device. I paid full price, but on my way out of the store I found a $20 bill, so I’ve convinced myself that I only paid $30

And the Roku 3 is simply the best streaming box there is.

Go to Best Buy and purchase an Amazon Fire (still have some Black Friday stock) for $75…

Then turn on developer mode and load XBMC and NAVI-X…

Not even a comparison…

Got a stick recently, great investment. It seems quick to me, and love the portability; we’ve moved it between TVs and look forward to travel with it. Batteries were dead and remote showed light wear, but the refurb was worth the price.
