I have the 10.6 quart, purchased from woot! for slightly more money.

(As someone said: “Buy the biggest one you can afford.”)

It is superb.

Fissler is “the Cadillac of Pressure Cookers”, and it lives up to its reputation.

If you are the kind of cook that thinks about what to make for dinner in the late afternoon/early evening, this baby can bring an unbelievable meal to your plate in a fraction of the time it usually takes. You will not be disappointed.

Comments/Discussion from a previous offer

So im reading reviews and find that this is a pretty good product, but… For those people that have had problems with it… they have even more problems getting warranty from the manufacturer if they bought it from an unauthorized dealer. They say: Fissler (and also Kuhn Rikon) will not warranty their cookers if purchased from an unauthorized dealer. So, I’m guessing since the reviews I found stating this were on Amazon, and Amazon owns woot… they might not be an authorized dealer. So… does this mean we don’t get the lifetime warranty?

not much discussion of any of these except to gripe about woot using the wrong picture… and… you got a quality post out of it. Woot must not be following up on quality posts anymore it seems.

This is a great deal. Had I not received a top-of-the-line 10qt. Fagor model from Santa I would have jumped on the comparably-sized Fissler in a heartbeat, warranty or not.

That sounds like it could’ve been a third party seller thing, but I’m checkin’ in with our buyers to confirm the warranty with our offers.

UPDATE: Confirmed, woot IS an authorized dealer and Fissler’s Lifetime Limited Warranty should be honored.

Forget lifetime warranty, I’ve had a hell of a time getting support from Fissler for a product that I bought on Woot in November that was not reaching the higher of the two setpoint pressures. They were quick to respond to provide some troubleshooting suggestions, but when those suggestions didn’t work, they failed to respond to subsequent emails requesting warranty support.

I could always fight the charge with my credit card company, but I would have expected better support from Fissler given the price of this cooker.

I’m really sorry for your experience. I’d try reaching out to them again.

You can also email support@woot.com; CS may be able to help get the ball rolling for you.

Should I assume there is no perforated pan and tripod, or steamer basket included in the 10.6 qt 8560 model? It looks like it could be a $45-$55 hit to cook down tough meats like ribs.

I think it might include the accessories, but I just sent a note to the buyer to confirm.

I purchased the identical 10.6 qt Fissler pressure cooker on a previous woot (Nov 2) and it did come with the perforated pan & stand. Hope this helps.

Thanks. You should get another quality post to beat a mod. Sadly, I am too late, after seeing an answer.

Thanks again, moderator for your attempt to help me, but you still got the sales done with somebody else…

Not to fret, they seem to have the Fissler pressure cookers fairly regularly on here, so just check back again at some point. As you will note I bought mine on Nov 2nd, which wasn’t that long ago.

Piece of advice: When you see the 10.6 qt model, snag it quick because they tend to get gone quick… it took me a year of trying to get one.

When i had a problem, they sent me a replacement part immediately, no questions asked, and that fixed the issue.
Maybe ask for a new part?
