I wear these pants just about seven days a week, 52 weeks of the year and love them. They’re comfy, durable, and don’t look half bad. Unfortunately, they aren’t offering my size in this woot so I can’t stock up.

How is the fit? True to size, little tight or kind of loose?
How true to size is the fit of the pants?
Question for you… are these quiet? Are they suitable for hunting? or are they a noisy pant?
These will be a little loose. I go between a M and L but for this, I’m getting a large so it can be more of a jacket vs mid layer. If you don’t wear a phone/gun etc… on you hip and normally wear a large, I’d opt for the medium. Nice fall, spring jacket to toss over a t-shirt. I would treat it like a mid layer type jacket. I have one that’s the same style (no side zipper), and it has a hood. If you zip it up, close all the portals (pockets), it’s a very warm jacket. I normally use my eddie bauer 1st ascent “sweater” down (jacket) under my duluth trading company wind proof fleece jacket. it’s a large and it’s a big large. Lost of room to move around. VERY warm. It’s 8 out right now with winds around 20mph gusting to 30+. Only my face was cold. Nice thing is, toss a hard shell jacket over this and you got a outdoor set that isn’t gonna make you cry if you snag it on a fence or something. Snagged my EB jacket. It was 200 bucks and hooked it on a corner of a work bench. Had to supper glue the 2 inch rip.
The jacket description reads in part: “… provides room for the use of ballistic vests.”
Is this something people actually need in everyday life? Are there masses of people in Starbux or the local grocery store wearing ballistic vests?
It seems to me that perhaps this paramilitary fetishism seems to have gone a bit too far when accommodation of ballistic vests becomes a marketing tool for everyday use.
There’s an option of 100% cotton canvas pants in the product site. Would that be a better option? The price is more than double though.
You wear pants? I always hunt naked, with a spear. I guess it’s kind of old-fashioned, but it sure is quiet.
I own a pair of TruSpec “cotton twill” pants in a similar design (bought on sale from another vendor). They are pretty solid and the sliding/elastic waistband design is a nice feature. Sizing seemed spot-on and the above-mentioned sliding waist feature gives it a little room to expand if needed. 
You do realize that the target market for TruSpec products are folks in LE/Mil, right?
So someone spoke a bit about jacket size. But i wanna ask again. If it has room for a vest, and i dont plan on a vest, should i go down a size, or is the chest measurement for the shoulders and cant fully size down. i wear 42R normally and wanna make sure it fits well

good pants btw… if you are in the market for sturdy cargo pants, look for this deal in the future. The fabric is a rip-stop type polyester/cotton blend, but on the “quiet” side of the spectrum for those who worry about making a racket in the brush.
When the description said OD Green I was expecting olive drab, not olive dayglo.
