Pretty good reviews (4.4 out of 5.0) on the Panasonic model over at BestBuy.com

Comments from a previous offer on the Panasonic

My mom has a tube TV and her DVD player is broken. Do either of these have a co-ax?

The LG doesn’t have terribly good reviews on Amazon.

No, and neither have composite video or analog audio out that could be used with an RF modulator.

I don’t know if players that connect to TVs via coax are even made any more. It may be time to buy her a new TV.

I own a Clearlplay Blue-ray player so I can filter the profanity and offensive content from movies. Got to protect the young ears and eyes.

I’ve had the LG blu-ray since 2013 and it’s been great to me so far. This is a great price for it.

Bought the LG one last time it was wooted…Didn’t work, still use it for the USB to play movies though

I’m in for one of the Pannys

If I don’t like it I’ll update y’all

Picking this up as my only BD player in the house is a Fat Ps3 - works great but I think for my outdoor BD movies I should not strain the aging machine.

I’m in for two LG’s. One DVD player is giving up the ghost after eight years, and one TV (newly acquired in a December Woot) is in need of a DVD player. Anyone know if these include HDMI cables?

According to the specifications of both offers, neither of them include an HDMI cable.
