Product page for the 60" and review over at cnet

I can get the 80 inch new with an included one year warranty for cheaper on amazon than refurbished with a one year warranty here.

Time to check out the product page for the 80" and check out this “very good” review on the 60" over at cnet

BTW, Woot! you never did get me anything for my birthday. I think if you send me the 80" model I will forgive you.

I work for Vizio. there are better deals on the website for new tv’s same size and everything.

And prices on these M Series are cheaper on Costco website and not refurbed and come with extended warranty and Costco Concierge Service.

Comments for the 55" at amazon indicate that the remote is paired with the TV, so aftermarket remotes probably wont work. Thats a deal breaker for me since I use a universal learning remote for everything. Hate remote clutter!

I don’t think those at Costco are 3D, even though they are M series… are they?.. These at Woot today are 3D… Just Sayin…

I paid less for my sharp that is the same size and a better TV from a big box store. These aren’t woot deals, these are over priced used car deals.

Can anyone confirm the VIZIO M601D-A3 is 3D ??

The specs say yes, but a consumer review owner says NO 3D… ???

The VIZIO M601D-A3R has 3D but does the VIZIO M601D-A3 have 3D???

Thanks

Here’s the manual. Start on page 65 for info on 3D.

To view 3D content, you will need:
• VIZIO Theater 3D HDTV
• 3D Blu-ray™ player with a Blu-ray 3D™ disc (sold
separately)
• VIZIO Theater 3D Glasses
• 3D-Ready HDMI cable (sold separately)
• Smart TV apps - VUDU and 3DGO

I am seeing prices of $100+ on Costco for these models, do you have a link?

This is for the non-3D. But then I don’t want to wear glasses to watch TV. Notice that some of these are not 3D while some are.

2013 models have 3D while they dropped it for 2014. At least with the 70 inchers.

We have the Visio 70" smart TV and the TV is great, but the Smart part about it is really crappy.

The smart menus take forever to load. Push a button and 10 seconds later something happens. The remote we have doesn’t have a keyboard which makes it a pain in the ass to watch anything. I know we can get another vizio remote that has a keyboard on amazon, but our model number is not on the list that it supposedly supports.

Just FYI

I have a visio 3d tv. You only have to wear the glasses if your watching 3d.

I bought Vizio 70" on woot about a month of go that was a refurb. It lasted 3 days until I had a bunch of lines down the middle of the screen. Woot’s customer service to have it returned and refunded was piss poor at best.

Those prices are terrible, I bought my new 70in. Vizio for 1599.00. Refurbished should be 999.99.

I hate my Vizio M 70" and would not buy another Vizio. Bought from Sam’s and it had intermittent boot up problem where a unplug/replug cycle was required to possibly get it to function. After complaining for about 3 months, a repair team was sent out with a new mother board, turns out it was the previous years mother board and it was noticeably different. I paid for this years and wanted this years. Team came out again and replaced the motherboard with another from the previous model. Eventually they sent me a new TV. It takes a long time to boot (90-120 second) before it is responsive to inputs. But the entire early experience has soured me on the brand. I hope you don’t get one of incarnations as a refurb.
