Good Reviews of the Klipsch SW-450 10" over at Amazon

I have the KF-28 (8 inch version) and they are crisp on the top end with solid mids and weak bass. I have them bi-amped with my Yamaha receiver with the bass up a few extra notches. They just don’t bring much on the low end. Definitely want a solid sub to back these up.

Do I regret the purchase? No. Just don’t love how much I paid even though I got them half off regular retail from BB.

I found 8" subs to be too slap happy were as 10" or above are not.

Funny just spent last several day’s researching towers. I came across this deal and snagged a pair of the previous model F-20 for $115 (each) on ebay (fullfilled through newegg). As someone that worked in field this will save little and basically same sound quality. And yes they are new never buy a refurb speaker unless everything but the magnetic was replaced. As far as the sub I went a lot big.
