Dark side (in ancient Japanese)

Good idea :+1:

This looks really cool. What are the actual ancient Japanese characters in this design, and what do they mean? People don’t like wearing shirts with foreign languages that have no clear translation. It is a good way to be embarrassed when you find out what it really means.

how about Darth Side? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

like the woot one I wore that says “Get Bento”. son in Japan said it means drop dead (possibly cruder than that)

I had my cousin, who studied Japanese, tried to read this. She said a part of it says “Cow” and the rest almost looks like words but are written incorrectly. Maybe that’s the ancient part but I don’t think it’s appropriate to have this in a typography derby.

Agreed, even though it’s very cool. It’s not typography.
