I have one of these, though I bought it from a brick and mortar retailer, not Woot.
I bought this to be an RV air fryer. It has a lower maximum wattage, which is important when you’re looking to conserve your total electricity usage. The box lists 1000W, many air fryers will consume 1500W or more. Its max temp is probably lower than other fryers, but this hasn’t really been an issue for me.
That said, it’s a great unit. It can’t be beat for sumplicity- there’s one dial, and if your food isn’t crispy yet, just turn the dial again. If you are looking for the best of the best, well, you’ll have to pay more than this. If you just want chicken nuggets and taquitos that are made much better than a microwave can do- this does the job and does it well.
Consumer Reports did not include this model among their recommended models. Looks like their rating of 3 out of 5 for Controls was probably the main reason.
