I’m not sure if this is a bug with the iPad OS Woot app, or with the Amazon Payment and Shipping info syncing to Woot.
My account is tied to my Amazon Prime account. During a Wootoff or sale, I changed my default payment method, an Amazon Prime Visa -9xxx, to a credit union Visa/Debit card -5xxx, so that I could make small Wootoff purchases and qualify for a transaction quota that raised my interest rates for the month. I made the change in Amazon.
I have since made the Prime Visa card the default payment again on Amazon, and purchases on Amazon default to -9xxx appropriately. But on Woot the default is “stuck” at the other card. Attempting to change it in the app just yields directions to update my Amazon account … which I have.
I suppose I could delete the credit union payment from my Amazon Prime account, but kinda sorta shouldn’t have to. Any other ideas? A t D h V a A n N k C s E.
Not sure how to. I signed into woot with my old Woot account, added something to the cart, started checkout, and had to sign into my Amazon account to use Amazon pay. And again the credit union Visa card-5xxx was the default.
There no “sign out “ command that I see in the iPadOS app, just having to sign in again. Nevermind, there’s a “Log out of woot” command. Tried that. Logged out of woot, signed back in with my Amazon account (maybe this would refresh account details?), checked out with something, clicked “continue” to use Amazon pay, and the -5xxx card is still the default.
the apps aren’t sharing information. Login with Amazon and Amazon Pay are owned by Amazon. All we do is send a request for login or payment and Amazon returns with pretty much only a yes or no. We don’t request a specific card. That’s all on Amazon.
