Device went End of Life in 2022; this means no more security updates / bug fixes / etc will be released for this device. If you are looking for a Chromebook that will “just work”, this is not what you’re looking for.
If you’re looking for a Chromebook to tinker with and know what you’re doing, carry on.
Do we think it would be acceptable for an older elementary school child to do learning games and such?

Not in the mood for project to play with. As tempting as that is.
This info should be displayed by retailers and manufacturers of every Chromebook.
