Time to learn all about the processor

CPU Benchmarks

This is a nice laptop. I recently purchased one from Dell, which I returned because it did not play well with linux/Ubuntu. But everything about it is great for a laptop of the size, except the lack of an SSD. Build quality, display, keyboard, trackpad, and audio I all found to be the best I had encountered among my several Dell machines over the years. If not for the poor linux support, I’d have gladly kept it. This price is about $75 less than I paid for it last month (however that deal included a free Venue 7" tablet, which except for resale was worthless).

someone from Woot might want to change the product description. Core i7 4510U is a 4th gen Haswell processor launched in Q2 of 2014, not 5th gen (Broadwell).

More information on 5th Gen Core-i7:

Does this have a regular keyboard or is it like the iPad style keyboard?

Thanks!

It’s a laptop so yes, regular keyboard.

No Linux support? Too bad! This is almost what I was looking for. Lack of an Ethernet port is also troubling, but where would you put it?

Yep! No ethernet is definitely a deal breaker.

Specs saying nothing about RJ-45, and say Network: No.

Yep, my bad. I was looking at the HP.
