This is $169.99 brand new at Costco.

yep. just got one from costco last friday.

a 31.5" monitor should be a 4k monitor at 3840 x 2160 resolution. 1920 x 1080 is too low of a resolution for something you’re sitting 2 feet in front of.

However, if you wanted to use this as a TV monitor, it would probably work fine.

I bought this a few months ago. It’s big, it’s 1080P, and it works well for my 55 year old eyes whereas 4K would be too small. I love it.

However, if you don’t have eyesight issues or a special need for a large 1080P display then I would go for a different monitor.

If you are using Win10, you can adjust your view for easy viewing. I’m 60 and blind as a bat. I have two 4k 27" monitors and love every bit of it, except paying for them.(but still worth it)

Only 1080p?? This needs to be at least 8k to be usable[/sarcasm]:roll_eyes:

“Ultra-wide viewing angle” don’t be fooled into thinking this is an ultra wide monitor. I can see people not comprehending that and getting realllllly disappointed ultra fast. Wish it was 4k. But not bad for that big ole monitor! Perfect for playing Wow!

I wouldn’t call it perfect for gaming. The 8 ms refresh rate is not great, even for WoW. I think you’d be disappointed if you used it for gaming.

I generally look for monitors that have refresh rates 4 ms or faster for gaming.

Yet another NON-deal from Woot! Just bought this very same monitor NEW at Costco six weeks ago for $149.99 – $15 LESS (after Woot’s s/h) than here for a used/refurbished monitor. And I understand it’s still $169 at Costco right now, i.e., for a new monitor for only $5 more (after s/h) than on Woot for a refurbished monitor, and with a MUCH easier/better return policy at Costco should you need it. (As to the monitor, I love mine, on my work desk, using for both word processing and internet.)

FWIW, I am using the exact same monitor right now on my desk, as I type this, about 24" away from me, with no problems regarding the screen resolution.

Hey there. Buyer is in a good mood and decided to make this an even better deal by knocking $5 off that price. Take that Costco!

Pls buy ALL the monitors.

For those of you that already purchased, we’ll be refunding you soonish.

I have a (Woot!) Viewsonic 46" Commercial Display @ less than 2 feet and it is still crisp as an apple but at 2.5 feet you can lean back, relax and still read everything

In Windows it is called Clear Type
